Haiquan Yacht · New Energy Shipbuilding
[Company Showcase] Haiquan Yachts: The first in the country! The pure electric dual-hull sailboat powered by new energy has been tested on the Yuan River.
Recently, the first domestic pure electric catamaran left the shipbuilding industrial park dock in Yuanjiang City and conducted a trial sail on the surface of Lake Dongting. Under the blue sky and white clouds, the boat hoisted its sails and quickly sailed across the wide water surface, with the words "Qinghai Lake Blue Love" printed prominently on the sails. The passengers on board experienced the thrill of "hoisting the sails to ride the waves."
Luo Pan, assistant general manager of Hunan Haiquan Yacht Co., Ltd., introduced that this sailboat, named "Blue Love," will enter Qinghai Lake after trial acceptance to serve local tourists. This is the company's first production of a catamaran and also the first domestic yacht powered by new energy with a retractable sail design. The boat is 12 meters long and 5 meters wide, capable of accommodating 24 tourists in an open-air setting. It is understood that the domestic sailing market has mainly focused on single-hull boats with gasoline engines assisting the sails. Haiquan Yacht Company has successfully developed the first catamaran structure powered by new energy lithium batteries to assist the sails, achieving zero emissions, no noise, and no vibration standards, marking a new application of new energy power in sailing.
